GEOTEXTILES (WOVEN AND NONVOVEN)

Geotextile is cloth which can be wrapped around drainage pipes for the purpose of keeping the drainage channels clear, whilst allowing water to escape. It is also widely used to control weed growth and to separate layers of different materials.
The most common product in the family of Geosynthetics is non woven geotextile fabrics. This product is a random assembly of synthetic fibers, put together, which are mechanically & thermally bonded to make into a single layer, commonly made of non woven polypropylene geotextiles and polyester types. Geo textile fabrics are manufactured that based on typical application required. The weight range of this product in civil engineering applications are typically ranging from 100gsm to 2000gsm. Its main function is 1) Filtration 2) Separation 3) Reinforcement and 4) Drainage.

Its applications includes:
Road construction, highways and highway embankments.
Drainage.
Airport runways.
Composites.
Shore protection in reclamation works.
Protection for geomembrane in landfills.
Asphalt repaving of roads.
Geobags manufacturing.
Coastal and riverbank revetment systems.
Soil erosion control.
Filtration.

GEO TEXTILE (WOVEN)
Geotextile is cloth which can be wrapped around drainage pipes for the purpose of keeping the drainage channels clear, whilst allowing water to escape. It is also widely used to control weed growth and to separate layers of different materials.
The original, and still sometimes used, term for Geotextile is filter fabrics. PP Woven Geotextiles are commonly known as Woven Geotextiles. These are made of artificial fibres with various petro-chemical derivatives as their source. The functions are separation, filtration, drainage and initial reinforcement. Geotextiles are permeable fabrics which, when used in association with soil, have the ability to separate, filter, reinforce, protect, or drain. Our product feature high tensile strength and low elongation standards. These have superior capacity for filtration and load distribution, thus reducing rutting and helping in extending the life of paved and unpaved roadways.
Features:
Dimensional stability
Low elongation standards
Superior mechanical properties to with stand stress during installation and service
Resistant to all naturally occurring soil acids and alkalis
Resistance to the biological and chemical environments
Unaffected by bacteria or fungi
