GEOGRIDS (HDPE)
There are many types of geogrid available on the market Geogrid usually constructed of polyethylene, polypropylene or polyester. The most common use is for renforcement of unstable soil and waste masses.

and widely used in civil construction over the whole world. It is manufactured on the basis of high-impact polyethylene and polypropylene. Geogrids are used as reinforcement materials on mellow soils for railway and car roads, parking places, landing grounds and for the reinforcement of bridge piers, slopes and earth banks, for erosion protection of slopes
Geogrid is manufactured from a punched polypropylene sheet, oriented in multiple, equilateral directions to form a triangular aperture, delivering high radial stiffness throughout the full 360 degrees. This feature yields a more efficient product that delivers optimal in-service stress transfer from the aggregate to the reinforcement. Geogrids are manufactured using select grades of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resins that resist elongation (creep) when subjected to high loads for long periods of time. These geogrids carry large tensile loads applied in one direction (along the roll), and their open aperture structure interlocks with natural fill materials.

Geogrid is typically a synthetic material characterized by woven bands of narrow elements in a regular, grid-like pattern with large voids between the woven bands. It's the tensile strength of the woven bands and the voids between those bands that lend stabilizing strength to the projects
